B.S. Chemistry, focus in Biological Sciences,
Carnegie Mellon University, 2008

I began working in the Collins group in Fall 2006. I spent my first year working with Delia Popescu. My project focused on TAML-catalyzed degradation of atrazine, an herbicide component. Currently, I am working with William Chadwick Ellis to develop a functional FeLDH solid (FeB*-TAML intercalated layered double hydroxide). After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in industry.

Outside of the laboratory, I enjoy cooking, gardening, going to shows, and just having a good time!
